In the Valley of the Temples there are nine Temples in
total and are situated, largely on a ridge, looking out over the Mediterranean
Sea. The
best of them, Concordia, is similar in design to the Parthenon in Athens.
It is almost perfectly preserved with its wonderful
tapering columns and beautiful golden colour stone, it is absolutely
captivating.
